Hey, I’m Jenna :)
She/They
LGBTQ+ affirming
Long strolls at a bookstore are my “go-to”
Huge love for the horror genre, animals, anything fruity, sunflowers, and springtime.
I am obsessed with constantly learning…and cracking jokes
I am frequently trying new hobbies (and failing at them!)
Extroverted. Warm. Invigorating.
It can be so hard to tell how someone is, their vibe, and who they are just by reading a person’s website.
And especially a therapist’s website, when you are in need of really getting a sense for who that therapist is.
Because you’re about to lay it all out on the table and bare your soul.
So you want it to be a great fit, and want to know that before you even email, call, or text them to see if they have openings.
I get it.
Feeling worried, anxious, nervous, and doubtful about this whole therapy process…and the therapist sitting in front of you is 100% natural.
Which is why I want this to feel like butter for you.
I want you to feel like you can cry, laugh, be angry, be snarky, say all the things that you keep bottled up - to say all of it.
To put it all on the table without being judged, without feeling like I have no idea what you’re talking about, and without feeling like your therapist is a dud and they have no idea how to help you.
I want you to feel like you have a warm blanket wrapped around you with a cocoa in your hand, a puppy (or cat, or hamster… your preference) in your lap, and ocean waves lapping in the background when you are doing therapy with me.
I also want you to know that it’s not all serious, deep, dark conversations…and it’s not all fun and games or talking about the weather and what’s in theaters either.
It’s going to be the perfect mix of both because healing through the deep hard stuff as well as the lighter, laughing your socks off stuff, is where the magic happens.
Way more comfortable than you think.
Along with some serious expertise to help guide YOU (oh and by the way, YOU are actually the real expert here).
I have been told I bring in warmth and an upbeat, invigorating energy to our sessions, and make it feel like you're not talking to some complete stranger.
You get to find comfort, deep healing, and laughter as you do this whole therapy thing.
And it can be better, easier, and way more comfortable than you think.
