Wait…is it my circus and is it my monkeys?!

Over there feeling like a hot mess and a bag of chips, right? Ugh. Where’s the manual on how to change your life? 

Or a button somewhere to push that makes it all feel better? That has to be around here somewhere, right?

Because wow do things feel not-so-fun or skip-off-into-the-sunset right now. 

Nope. 

They’ve actually been feeling pretty rotten. You feel like you just go along with the flow with everything and everyone around you. 

You know you’ve deserved a raise for way too long, but can’t seem to find a way to ask for it. 

You stay out way too late or dismiss your so-called “bedtime” because boundaries with others and yourself seems like some sort of joke that self-help books talk about, but it actually isn’t a thing. 

You don’t know what you like, what you want to do, or even what you want to eat sometimes…which is how you end up eating chips and salsa while guilt-scrolling social media most evenings instead of doing something that seriously satisfies your soul.

 (But don’t get me wrong, chips, salsa, and social media can be a perfect way to unwind sometimes).

And mostly, you just feel overwhelmed with all the annoying chatter in your mind that tells you that you’re not good enough, you can’t do it, you’re not cared about, you can’t have what you want, and you’re selfish if you say “no,”…

…so you end up talking yourself out of so many things, and end up in a rut - consumed with anxiety and all the crap from the past that weighs on you.

Yes, keep reading, I swear it gets better. 

Instead of feeling like you're in your own circus (and yes, it’s your monkeys flying around like they just ate way too much candy and coffee)…
