Perinatal Therapy

Anywhere in Pennsylvania.

Constantly worrying if you’re doing it ‘right’.

You feel like you’re constantly worrying if you are doing it “right”, if you’re screwing something up, and wanting to make sure you don’t miss something as you go through pregnancy or as a parent or soon to be parent.

And wow, you have such great intentions and I love how much you care about the process.

You’re seriously awesome.

And at the same time, all of this energy, care and concern can be so exhausting and leaves you feeling like you’re failing or always on the edge of failing.

You’re feeling like a very far away, distant version of your more relaxed and carefree self that you’re craving to be.

Let’s challenge the “Shoulds” and “Should-Nots”

So let me help you sift through it all and dissect all the parenting and perinatal things, so you start to deeply know that you are doing an amazing job

…even without it being perfect.

Even with the hiccups, the mistakes, the blunders that get to happen.

Let me help guide you through it all so that it starts to feel way more comfortable and easy so you feel a lot more carefree and easy going…even when you’ve got your parenting cape on.

And sometimes, this means really walking through the deepest of hurts together too.

Whether it’s postpartum depression, the loss of a child, abortion, past traumas of your own childhood creeping into the present.

I can help you find your way through these lonely and heavy spaces that you’re in, so you can finally rest and breathe in some healing.

So you can step into your best self as a human and a parent.

All comfort. All human. All Connection.

Well, I have a knack and the expertise for helping guide you through perinatal challenges because I know what it’s like to put the pressure on yourself, to “should” yourself constantly, to feel the heaviness and pressure to “get it right”, to not “mess up.”

I know what it’s like to really feel the heaviness of a huge life change, a beautiful and big responsibility, and to go through something completely unexpected.

I will bring in guidance, boundary setting skills (with others and yourself), ways to challenge how you’re thinking about certain situations, and I will also bring a good dose of humor to our sessions, so hopefully you crack a smile, maybe a laugh or two, and feel like all this therapy stuff isn’t that bad.

That it isn’t that hard, and doesn’t have to feel like you’re sitting in front of some over-stale stranger staring at you behind some, what you thought were, judgment glasses

And instead it was all comfort, all human, all connection, and all healing…with some joke-cracking along the way.
